Key Indicators: how to get in google, search engine optimization, website optimization, meta tags optimization, website optimization firm, search engine optimization certification
Michael: “Time Saver! In a hurry? If you’d read only one book, this is the one: Building Your Business with Google For Dummies. That’s the quickest way to improve your Google ranking.”

It’s one of the questions I’m being asked most frequently. Having worked for one of the bigger Search Engines, people ask me for The Secret. HOW to get in Google? As high as possible?
There are plenty of names for The Secret. Search Engine Optimization. Or Website Optimization. But they pale in comparison to my all-time favorite: Meta Tags Optimization.

Most of the people or companies who want to get in Google, have no idea where to start. If they can afford the money, they will use a website optimization firm, preferably one that has a search engine optimization certification. What a waste of money… If they’d only know The Secret.
Take my word for it: unless you don’t know what to do with your money, take some time and learn The Secret by yourself. It’s not difficult (you found this site, didn’t you? I used The Secret to make you find me!)

The Secret: knowledge. It is, contrary to what a website optimization firm will want you to believe, NOT DIFFICULT to learn what you need to do. It all comes down to three things:

Relevancy: have people with relevant websites, link into yours.

Keywords: make sure your website has the right keywords, if possible different keywords per page (most content management systems help you do this quickly and easily).

Adwords! Take some time (half an hour is more than enough!) to learn the Google Adword System.

So where do you start? In bed, would be my advice. With a good book. There are plenty, but I’ve picked three of them. In my opinion, those are all the books you need to learn this. Browse through them on Amazon. You’ll like them. Many people do. The ones I’ve picked are easy to read, comprehensive and highly useful. Again, you’ve found this article, haven’t you? Probably through a Google search, such as search engine optimization seo information, or how to get in google. Well, you wouldn’t have been here if I myself hadn’t read these books…
